Doncaster Racecourse is where tradition and excellence meet. The St. Leger, the world’s oldest - and the fifth and final Classic of the British Flat-racing season - takes pride of place every September on the famous Town Moor. Renowned for producing racing of the highest order, Doncaster is undoubtedly one of the finest racecourses in Europe, with facilities to match.


The return of the historic Ladbrokes St. Leger festival to its home ground marks the high point of our racing calendar. This special event gives you the opportunity to entertain guests in one of our festival marquees, private boxes or restaurants.

The Racing Post Trophy in October is the final Group 1 race of the British season; a race for top-class two-year-olds with classic aspirations. While the Tote November Handicap effectively brings to an end the Flat season on turf.

The highlights of the Winter season over the Jumps at Doncaster are The Christmas Meeting in December and the Great Yorkshire Steeplechase in January. .

Doncaster is the only Northern racecourse to stage a classic race. Every September the St. Leger is celebrated with four days of festivities and our stunning new facilities will create an even greater sense of style and spectacle at this historical occasion.

The St. Leger was first run in 1776, making it the oldest classic in the world. The St. Leger Festival is acclaimed as the premier sporting occasion of the Autumn calendar, an exciting spectacle which is also an important social event - a place to see and be seen.

Festivities in 2007 are sure to be more colourful than ever, as racegoers celebrate the homecoming of this great event in stunning new surroundings. With the redevelopment of the Racecourse on target we are delighted to be able to announce the new packages and prices for the Festival meeting.
 

FESTIVAL MARQUEE PACKAGES PADDOCK MARQUEES Redesigned due to the change in location of the Pre parade ring and saddling boxes the Paddock marquees now run adjacent to the running rail overlooking the racetrack with a view down the finishing straight and on Saturday the start of the St. Leger race itself. With a newly located big screen television and live music the Paddock will still offer the perfect location in which to enjoy the day’s entertainment.    WINNING POST ENCLOSURE An unrivalled location on the Racecourse, offering an unobstructed view down the home straight, the newly developed Yorkshire Stand with a packed Grandstand facing you and the noise from the crowd hitting you in waves as the horses thunder pass to the finish, this is a fantastic position in which to experience the thrill of the big race atmosphere. PRIVATE BOXES ST. LEGER STAND BOXES Newly refurbished the St. Leger boxes offer stunning views over the Racecourse. Based on four levels with a single box accommodating a minimum of 15 guests, with the boxes on the first level having sliding internal walls offering flexible accommodation for a maximum of 120 guests, all the boxes have private viewing balcony and are conveniently serviced with Tote and toilet facilities.   THE NEW GRANDSTAND BOXES The entire fourth floor of the new Grandstand will be devoted exclusively to private box facilities offering flexible accommodation for groups of a minimum of 20 – 120 guests.   We offer fully inclusive private box packages from the following per head rates:   ST.
